On 03 February 2026, the trainees visited the Institute of Forestry, Tribhuvan University, Hetauda, as part of their academic exposure programme. The visit provided valuable insights into forestry education, research initiatives, and sustainable forest management practices followed in Nepal. Interactions with faculty members enhanced understanding of curriculum structure, field-based learning, and regional forestry challenges. The exposure supported the objective of the Uttarakhand Forest Training Academy, Haldwani, to strengthen professional knowledge and cross-border learning in forestry and natural resource management.
