It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to the official website of Uttarakhand Forestry Training Academy, (UFTA) Haldwani (Nainital). UFTA is dedicated to impart quality training to the forestry professional, since its inception as Forest Training Centre in 1979.
I would like to appreciate and sincerely commend the efforts of all faculty members and support staff of this Institute in building capacities of forestry personnel and wish them all the best in their noble training endeavours.
Apart from the academic curriculum field tours including various parts of India, Sports and Games, Yoga classes, Adventure sports like snow skiing and Rock climbing and number of other extra curricular activities for grooming overall personality of trainee to face a plethora of field situations are organised.
We are hoping that our website, apart from providing information on the history and working of our Academy, it will also provide the opportunity to Trainees, Faculties, researchers and others to find useful information through the different sections and to have direct and prompt access to accurate information on everything that is related to Uttarakhand Forestery Training Academy.
