A study tour for Forest Guard Trainees (Second Session 2026, Section-B) of Uttarakhand Forest Training Academy, Haldwani was organized from 19.02.2026 to 28.02.2026 across various Himalayan locations including Bageshwar, Chaukori, Munsyari, Pithoragarh, and Lohaghat. The tour focused on field exposure to forest ecosystems, biodiversity, alpine habitats, and protected area management practices. Such experiential learning programmes significantly enhance practical knowledge and field-level understanding essential for effective forest management and conservation.
