A study tour for Forest Guard Trainees (Third Session 2026, Section-A) of the Uttarakhand Forest Training Academy, Haldwani was conducted from 19.02.2026 to 28.02.2026 across various Himalayan locations including Bageshwar, Chaukori, Munsyari, Pithoragarh, and Lohaghat. The programme focused on field exposure to forest ecosystems, biodiversity, alpine habitats, and protected area management practices. Such experiential learning initiatives play an important role in strengthening practical knowledge and enhancing field-level understanding essential for effective forest conservation and management.
