On 25 November 2025, the RFO trainees undertook an introductory visit to Rajaji Tiger Reserve. The programme included a guided safari that familiarised the trainees with the reserve’s biodiversity, where they observed chital, sambar, peafowl, nilgai, and various other species. The visit also covered the Elephant Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre, where trainees received orientation on protocols related to elephant care, health monitoring, enrichment practices, and long-term welfare management.
