A batch of 80 Scaler trainees from the Uttarakhand Forestry Training Academy, Haldwani, visited the Lalkuan Depot under the guidance of Mr. Upendra Singh Barthwal (DSM, DLM Haldwani). The trainees gained practical insights into timber grading based on quality, size, and type, along with depot operations related to storage, handling, and dispatch. The session provided valuable exposure through clear explanations and real-time demonstrations of depot standards and procedures.
